I founded ECG Legal after working across boutique and large firms — starting as a law clerk and working up to partner level. That path taught me a lot about what clients in family law actually need: a lawyer who genuinely understands their situation, gives them clear and honest advice, and stays involved throughout.

I am an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, which means I have been through a rigorous peer assessment process recognising expertise in this area of practice. Family law is all I do. That focus matters when your matter is complex.

My approach is direct but empathetic. I will tell you what you need to know — not just what you want to hear — and I will do it in plain English. More often than not, even complicated matters come down to a handful of key issues. Identifying those clearly, early, is what leads to faster and better outcomes.

ECG Legal is based in Macarthur and I work with clients across Sydney and regional NSW. I also accept referrals from solicitors, accountants, and other professionals.

Outside of work, I enjoy sailing and cooking — with mixed results on the latter. I don’t own a vineyard in Tuscany and I have no plans to hike the Camino de Santiago.
